  • Ana lost her muscle strength to press a switch with her right hand fingers. As she wanted to keep using the same method to access to her computer, <b>accessplux</b> was the best solution as it could detect very small movements from the fingers, no strength needed.
  • John (fictitious name) wanted to have a solution like Stephen Hawking's. He uses <b>accessplux</b> to detect very small movements in the cheek. With this input, he controls his emails, manipulates the AAC software and keeps running his business.
  • Elsa (fictitious name) suffered a brainstem stroke. In the acute care, Elsa couldn't perform any voluntary movement, except for slow vertical eye movements and blinking. With <b>accessplux</b> it was possible to detect slow eye movements and Elsa was able to choose phrases from a list.
  • Peter  (fictitious name) suffered a brainstem stroke. During the acute period of the recovery, he couldn't perform any voluntary movement, except for arising and inconsistent muscle contractions in the forehead. <b>accessplux</b> could sense these contractions and Peter learnt how to control this movement to choose items from a list on the screen.
  • Mike (fictitious name) suffered a TBI on a car accident. He was not able to speak. He had tried other input devices but it was difficult to control due to many involuntary movements in his face and eyes. With <b>accessplux</b> Mike was able to learn how to control a specific movement in the forehead and control a keyboard.
